FUTURE OF Religion dominated nations? A world review of all religion based countries.
Religion is a foremost tool to grab power and use it to subjugate humanity. 99% of human invented religions like Christianity and Islam are clever machines to grind people and force them to live in their religio political system. Fortunately Catholics are not as oppressive in this age [as they were in medieval times], as Islamic rulers and after the abuses of Church millions of people have left and declared themselves as Atheists.
In practical terms the countries of the world are gravitating towards a non religious secular entity where everyone is free to pray, believe or not believe. Forcing someone to follow a state religion is in reality no democracy but fascism & jail. North Korea is one such country where a dumb ideology is the religion and people are like programmed zombies..
Religion based countries have failed due to their impossibility of forcing everyone to follow the religious laws of the dominating population which sooner or later should be illegal and illicit as the dominating religious forces abuse and use their religious dogmatic ideas to impose on all others and to remain in power they do all kinds of abuses to their own population. Pakistan was created by force and British conniving with a Muslim lawyer but it has proved to be a totally failed state. It systematically persecutes, creates war in all its own and nearby countries territories to expand and encroach. No wonder most Muslim countries are governed by strict majority rule and they make the minorities lives miserable.
On other hand, Hindu nation of Nepal and few Buddhist Nations in Asia have respected all citizens despite their dominant force. Likewise Catholic and Christian nations in Latin America respect all other faiths without any state or public institutions harassing the people.
A state religion is a religious body or creed officially endorsed by the state. A state with an official religion, while not secular, is not necessarily a theocracy – a country whose rulers have in their hands both secular and "RELIGIOUS" authority.
The institution of state-sponsored religious cults is ancient, reaching into the Ancient Near East and prehistory. "Official" religions have been known throughout human history in almost all types of cultures. They were adopted by most ancient states, both monoethnic and polyethnic, and observing them was a requirement made to all citizens, and especially public officials.
Official religions justified and reinforced the type of government existing in a society. Sanctifying it as the most, or the only, correct (divine) one, they often put forward and/or supported ideas of its expansion to other lands, whether the latter already followed the same religion or not.
Muslim countries
Many Muslim-majority countries have constitutionally established Islam, or a specific form of it, as a state religion. Proselytism (converting people to another religion) is often illegal.
Islam States which define Islam as the state religion
Bangladesh : The 1972 constitution did not include any religion as the state religion. However, in 1988, general Ershad inserted Islam as the state religion by the Eighth Amendment Act. 1988; sec 2A specifies "The state religion of the Republic is Islam, but other religions may be practiced in peace and harmony in the Republic.". On 4 October 2010 the High Court ruled that Bangladesh is a secular state. Section 12 of part II of the constitution identifies Secularism and freedom of religion as fundamental principles of state policy!
Muslim majority does however harass minorities with violence and murders. State laws are not respected and Muslim clerty incite people to murder Hindus and Buddhists and steal their children, property and rape their wives.
Djibouti
Iraq : Article 2 of the Constitution of Iraq confirms Islam as the official religion of the State.
Pakistan : article 2 of the Constitution of Pakistan confirms Islam as the state religion. One of the most intolerant religion based country that harass, terrorize and routinely persecute most minority Islamic denominations, Christian converts, Hindus and Sikhs are persecuted in extreme way and are murdered, their properties burned, their young girl children are abducted and forced to convert and the rapes are absolutely common and the Pakistani govt does not act. Most Pakistanis want to leave that nation but their passports are least accepted around the world for their intolerant and antiquated views.

Most of the world’s countries (85%) allow citizens of any religious affiliation to be head of state but 17 Muslims Countries including Pakistan, Malaysia restrict on their heads of state maintain that the office must be held by a Muslim. These same 17 countries citizens go to other countries and demand preferable treatment to them when in their own countries they can only choose a Muslim head of state.
Indonesia and India are two large nations that host large number of Muslims.
INDIA
India is the only country in the world where the majority faith and their various adherents are persecuted, abused over preferance to minorities faiths like Christianity & Islam. India is the only country of the world where the majority population that follows Hindu Dharma can not build temples or its temples donations are expropriated by the state to pay to other minorities. This extreme tolerance of Hindu people is a rarity and the worse of India is its media and its abusive system of politics where the Govt. does not punish candidates peddaling caste and faith preference biases. Unfortunatley Christian church of all denominations and Muslims consider Hindus as raw material for conversion and they demean them, harass them and try to convert them by hook or crook and consider it their right. India is the only country where it is official to demean and portray Hindus, Sikhs, Jains in very bad light.
INDONESIA
Indonesia does not declare or designate a state religion. However, the government does only recognize 6 religions: Islam, Protestantism, Catholicism, Buddhism, Hinduism and Confucianism. The Constitution of Indonesia guarantees the freedom of religion and the practice of other religions and beliefs, including the animistic indigenous ones, is not prohibited by any laws. Indonesians practicing traditional polytheistic and animists as well as Sikhs, Jains are often counted as "Hindu" for government purposes. Atheism or agnosticism, although not prosecuted, is discouraged by the state ideology of Pancasila.
CHINA
State of China discourages and controls Islamic practices which are considered primitive and anti social. Chinese do not like Muslim practices of discrimination and abusive attitude towards the rest of people.
In China, the Han dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD) advocated Confucianism as the de facto state religion, establishing tests based on Confucian texts as an entrance requirement into government service—although, in fact, the "Confucianism" advocated by the Han emperors may be more properly termed a sort of Confucian Legalism or "State Confucianism"
BRIEF OF islam in CHINA: Shamanism and Buddhism were once the dominant religions among the ruling class of the Mongol khanates of Golden Horde and Ilkhanate, the two western khanates of the Mongol Empire. In the early days, the rulers of both khanates increasingly adopted Tibetan Buddhism, similar to the Yuan dynasty at that time. However, the Mongol rulers Ghazan of Ilkhanate and Uzbeg of Golden Horde converted to Islam in 1295 AD because of the Muslim Mongol emir Nawruz and in 1313 AD because of Sufi Bukharan sayyid and sheikh Ibn Abdul Hamid respectively. Their official favoring of Islam as the state religion coincided with a marked attempt to bring the regime closer to the non-Mongol majority of the regions they ruled. In Ilkhanate, Christian and Jewish subjects lost their equal status with Muslims and again had to pay the poll tax; Buddhists had the starker choice of conversion or expulsion. In Golden Horde, Buddhism and Shamanism among the Mongols were proscribed, and by 1315, Uzbeg had successfully Islamicized the Horde, killing Jochid princes and Buddhist lamas who opposed his religious policy and succession of the throne.

Tibet : It was a free Tibetan Buddhist nation that has been invaded and colonized by force and subjugation by Chinsee communist party govt. They deny rights to pray and live as per the communist laws punish all religious monks to death and routine torture.

Myanmar: Section 361 of the constitution states that "The Union recognizes special position of Buddhism as the faith professed by the great majority of the citizens of the Union.".

Status of religion in Israel
Despite Jewish people predominant Israel is a democracy that is 100 % tolerant compared to any other Mid Eastern state.
Jewish people were mass persecuted murdered in Nazi German dominated Europe and the European powers recreated the state of Israel to let Jewish people live in peace. The middle East regimes have routinely murdered and harassed and persecuted their Jewish population as state policy and harassing religious fanatics. .
Israel is defined in several of its laws as a "Jewish and democratic state" (medina yehudit ve-demokratit). However, the term "Jewish" is a polyseme that can describe the Jewish people as either an ethnic or a religious group. The debate about the meaning of the term "Jewish" and its legal and social applications is one of the most profound issues with which Israeli society deals. The problem of the status of religion in Israel, even though it is relevant to all religions, usually refers to the status of Judaism in Israeli society. Thus, even though from a constitutional point of view Judaism is not the state religion in Israel, its status nevertheless determines relations between religion and state and the extent to which religion influences the political center.
The State of Israel supports religious institutions, particularly Orthodox Jewish ones, and recognizes the "religious communities" as carried over from those recognized under the British Mandate - in turn derived from the pre-1917 Ottoman system of Millets. These are: Jewish and Christian (Eastern Orthodox, Latin [Catholic], Gregorian-Armenian, Armenian-Catholic, Syrian [Catholic], Chaldean [Uniate], Greek Catholic Melkite, Maronite, and Syrian Orthodox). The fact that the Muslim population was not defined as a religious community is a vestige of the Ottoman period during which Islam was the dominant religion and does not affect the rights of the Muslim community to practice their faith. The Government has allowed adherents of not officially recognized groups freedom to practice. In 1961, legislation gave Muslim Shari'a courts exclusive jurisdiction in matters of personal status. Three additional religious communities have subsequently been recognized by Israeli law: the Druze (prior under Islamic jurisdiction), the Evangelical Episcopal Church, and the Bahá'í.
The degree to which an official religion is imposed upon citizens in contemporary society varies considerably; from absolute as in Saudi Arabia to minimal or none at all as in Denmark, England, Iceland, Greece, Norway & Latin America
